Consumers ultimately bear the brunt and impact of climate change, specifically when services become unreliable and inaccessible, and goods become inaccessible, during and after disasters.
Infrastructure modernization will assure the consuming public of uninterrupted activities and transactions.
Thus, as direct stakeholders of our economy, consumers should recognize the shared advocacy and goal of sustainable, technology-driven, and climate resilient infrastructure.
We should all be responsible stewards of the environment and modify our behavior to complement climate action at the system level.
